This is my first time eating Korean style udon, which I missed so much. The moment we received the food, everyone let out a small gasp of surprise. I was surprised by the shape of the udon, surprised by the ingredients, and surprised by the amount of food. You can clearly see the sincerity of the person who prepared the food. I am deeply grateful for the care put into each bowl of udon. It reminds me of my hometown~

We loved this place so much that we decided to return and try something different! We opted for the gan Jjajangmyeon this time around because we were told it has more flavor and is like a drier jjajangmyeon and it was absolutely delicious! They offered us rice in the beginning but we said no, but when we were almost done we realized it was a good option to have so we asked for it and it was amazing! I can't wait to come back and try different items on the menu! Everything was absolutely delicious as usual!!

Very good, awesome Korean-Chinese spot. Food is a bit on the saltier end but textures and flavors are on-point. Super packed and small parking area.

Trying out new restaurants, want to see the hyped about their Jajangmyeon. Little disappointed because the taste of Jajangmyeon is little on the sweet side not the way I thought it would be when I had in Korea. The sweet and sour pork was delicious. Service we have to wave to get attention the waitress does not come around curtesy asking if we need anything. When we asked for the check and to go box, surprisingly they pack your leftover for you. In the end we get candy covered yam for complimentary dessert.

Mapo tofu FTW!!! This is the best mapo tofu I've had in a long long time. Usually when I order it from other places they make theirs a little too ketchup-y. I think my fellow mapo tofu lovers will understand what that means. This place spices theirs to perfection. I have a feeling my baby girl is gonna be a bit spicy just like her mama cuz I've been craving spice!!! In my opinion their jjajangmyun and jjambbong is just ok. I've definitely had better elsewhere but their mapo tofu is so good that it's worth coming just for this dish. Will will be trying other meat dishes next time and steer away from the noodles.

Came here for Mother's Day with my immediate family, and both sides of grandparents. Our usual Chinese spot for large family gatherings is New Garden but, we decided to switch it up for a special occasion. First off, there are 2 parking spots right in front of the restaurant (imagine if you pulled up into the driveway of a home), in this instance we lucked out and were able to snag one of these spots and it was incredibly convenient for the elderly grandparents, all in tow with wheelchairs and walkers. When you walk into the restaurant, the dining area is of decent size, with large round tables placed in the middle and smaller tables off to the side. They also have a separated room that accommodates larger parties (this is also typical of these traditional Korean/chinese restaurants) We had reservations so were seated immediately, our order was taken quickly, and the food also came out in a blink of an eye. What we ordered: Sizzling rice soup (the broth of their soup was super rich in comparison to any others I've tried, definitely recommend starting your meal with this) Cold jellyfish dish (yang-jang-pi) Salt and pepper squid (star of the show, a must order) Fried pork with sweet and sour sauce (tahng-soo-yuk. Another must order) Combination fried rice Kung pao chicken And we also to go ordered a black bean noodle All the food was amazing, again, the salt and pepper squid, sizzling rice soup, and fried pork with sweet and sour were star players. Highly recommend all three items. The service was quick, they were fairly busy given it was Mother's Day however, we felt well attended to. They serve soda in cans (not fountain), also due to it being "busy" they ran out of the white buns that usually accompany the meal, and also the sugar coated plantains that follow at the end of the meal. That is the only thing keeping me from a 5 star review but, I will definitely be back to hopefully get to try them along with my next meal!

Got this for takeout and everything was still piping hot when I came home. Usually tangsuyuk can be a hit or miss but this is some of the best I've ever had. The strips are fun thin and the batter isn't too heavy, so it's crispy and tender. The sauce on the noodles is an extremely generous portion -- there was enough leftover for a whole other meal with rice! The combo meal came with noodles, jjajjangmyeon sauce, pork, tangsuyuk sauce, pickled radish, raw onion, little bit of black bean paste, and a large side portion of rice. I thought it was expensive but when seeing the portion size, it's well worth! The staff is friendly and the restaurant was pretty busy even at 11:30am on a Thursday!

This place is low-key and has such a homey feel to it. I came with a few friends and we all thought the food was solid. To be fair, I don't think they have the BEST of anything that we've tried, but the dishes were all delicious/good. The service was amazing, they are well-staffed and friendly. The parking was sufficient and the wait time was non-existent when we went. For a Chinese-Korean restaurant, we HAD to get the staple items: jjajangmyeon, jjamppong, and tangsuyuk. All of the dishes were good, with the tangsuyuk being the star of the day. The crisp was perfection and the sauce was good too. We dip, we don't pour, don't judge us LOL. If you do pour, there'd be PLENTY to cover since the bowl of sauce was huge. The jjajangmyeon definitely felt more Chinese influenced here than Korean. Being in Rowland Heights, that makes sense. We enjoyed this dish, but it threw us off guard because we were anticipating the same sauce as in Koreatown. The sauce is very different here, but still tasty. The Mongolian beef was good, not too salty, and the pieces were lean. It also wasn't too oily, which is always a pleasant surprise. The jjamppong was delicious to me. It looks real spicy, but wasn't that bad. It didn't have as much of a seafood-y taste as most do. My sister likes it better with less of a seafood-y taste, I like it better with more. It's hard to please everyone! I did enjoy this dish and it ranked top 2 (of the 4 dishes we ordered) for me and my bestie, so I'd still recommend it! They gave us some complimentary dessert (sweet potato) at the end. It was a nice gesture and a good way to end the meal. All-in-all, I'd come back again for sure! Come support this small local business!!
